Dorothy Leona Parks Cox, 94, of Williamsburg Street, Williamsburg, departed this life on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at her home.
Dorothy was born on December 28, 1921 in Williamsburg, to the late Ancil Parks and Mary (Cupp) Parks.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Cox and 11 brothers and sisters.
She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her nephew and caregiver, Everett Frank Parks (Sharon) of Williamsburg; special cousin, Cleda Parks and husband Ronnie of Cincinnati, OH; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 17, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Janus Jones officiating.
She was laid to rest in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
