Dorothy Young, 80, of Keswick Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at her home.
Dorothy was born on May 1, 1936 in Williamsburg, to the late Felix Bowlin and Edna (Lawson) Bowlin.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Young, several brothers and a sister.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Young of Williamsburg; son, Chuck Young and wife Tammy of Williamsburg; grandson, Gavin Jeffery Young of Williamsburg; sister, Laura Blakley of Williamsburg; two brothers, Henry Bowlin and Clute Bowlin of Williamsburg; very special friends, Evelyn Ridenor, Vena Gast, Susie Blakley; and host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 13, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester officiating.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, September 13, where she was laid to rest in the Young Family Cemetery on Keswick Road, Williamsburg.
