Ellen Lawson

Ellen Lawson, age 93, of Williamsburg, Ky., passed away Wednesday July 16, 2025 at Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 21, 1932 in Bledsoe County, TN to the late Roma and Martha Haston Wyatt. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Caddell; three sons, Robert Bowman, David Bowman and Keith Lawson; one grandson, Tracy Allen Lawson; one sister, Zelma Wyatt; three brothers, Billy Joe Wyatt, Wilbur “Sutt” Wyatt and John Crawford; three sons-in-law, John Smith, Bo Watson, and Calvin “Junebug” Caddell.
She is survived by her husband, Kirby Lawson of Williamsburg, KY; five children, Judy Watson of Gulf Shores, AL, Juanita Smith of Sidney, OH, Michael Bowman (Khrista) of Sidney, OH, Lorene “Bitsy” Swanson (Anthony) of Williamsburg, KY and Tracy Lawson (Pam) of Williamsburg, KY; 26 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Irene Bruce of Crossville, TN; one brother, Bobby Crawford (Brenda) of Dallas, TX; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 22, at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Taylor, Rev. Jeff Hurst and Rev. Joe Caddell officiating. Interment will be in the Davis Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm Monday, July 21, at the funeral home.
