The City Utilities Commission of 1515 Cumberland Falls Highway, Corbin KY, will receive sealed bids for the sale of surplus equipment until Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. (local time), and then at said office open and publicly read aloud.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MINE
Pursuant to Application Number 918‐0516 RN-1
In accordance with KRS 350.055, notice is hereby given that Blue Gem Holdings, LLC, 799 Ky 1527, Gray, Kentucky 40734, has applied for renewal of permit 918-0516, located 0.35 miles east of Woodbine in Knox County. The operation will disturb 135.12 acres within the permit boundary.
The renewal operation is approximately 0.35 miles east of KY 26 Jct with KY 6 and located 0.65 miles east of the confluence of Eaton Branch with Lynn Camp Creek.
The operation is located on the Corbin KY 7½ minute quadrangle map. The surface area to be disturbed is owned by General Shale Brick, Inc, 3015 Bristol Highway, Johnson City, TN 37601.
The application has been filed for public inspection at the Department for Natural Resources, Middlesboro Regional Office, 1804 East Cumberland Avenue, Middlesboro, Kentucky 40965‐1229. Written comments, objections or requests for a permit conference must be filed with the Director, Division of Mine Permits, 300 Sower Boulevard, 2nd Floor, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
