Ernest Collett, 51, of Frankfort School Road, Corbin, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at his home.

He was born on October 24, 1965 in Hyden, to the late Rev. Walter H. Collett and Fannie Katherine (Brock) Collett.

Ernest was a member of Little Community Church of God on Bee Creek.

He is survived by a son, Montana Collett of Corbin; companion, Avra Collett of Corbin; mother, Fannie Katherine (Brock) Collett of Corbin; three brothers, Johnny Collett of Corbin, Jack Collett (Bonnie) of Corbin and James David Collett (Phyllis) of London; uncles, Farmer Collett, George Brock, Walter Brock, Felix Brock and Alex Brock; aunts, Liz Jones Collett, Linda Brock Morgan, Shelby Jean Brock Nolan and Carolyn Sue Brock;  and a host of many other family and friends to mourn his passing.

He was laid to rest following graveside services Monday, March 6, at the Brock Cemetery in the Mozell Community of Leslie County.  Rev. Eugene Roberts officiated the service.
