Ernest Joe Lawson, 77, of Corbin, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born June 14, 1939.
Ernie was preceded in death by his father, Jake Lawson; mother, Maude Petree Lawson; brothers, Freddy Lawson, Billy Lawson; sisters, Mary Lou Partenach, Pansy Norman.
He is survived by son, Kelly Lawson & Amber; daughters, Heather Mayrer and Tony; Robin Greene and Steve; grandchildren, Sydney Mayrer, Derek Gad, Kionna Lawson, Ashley Lawson, Alexis Lawson, Sierra Lawson, Brhiannon Davis, Michaela Davis, Cameron Davis, Jesse Greene, Melissa Greene, Roy Greene; several great grandchildren; brothers, Larry Lawson, Edgar Lawson, Ned Lawson; sisters, Margaret Randolph and husband Fred; Violet Taylor and husband James; Katherine Lawson; Lauren King and husband Phillip; Jessie Doan and husband James; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
The funeral was held Monday, November 7, in the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Cox officiating.
Burial followed the services in the High Clift Cemetery (Clairfield, TN).
