Myrtle Mae Lay, 63, of Jellico, TN passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Jellico Community Hospital.
She was born April 3, 1953 in Virginia.
Myrtle is preceded in death by her father, Simon “Jigs” Lay; mother, Ima Christine Buckner Lay; sister, Wanda L. Walker; life companion, Bobby Lambdin.
She is survived by: sons: James Michael Lay and wife Alicia; Bobby Lay and wife Shonda; daughter, Misty Lay; grandchildren, Cheyanna Partin, Alexis Lay, Zakery Lay, Jerri Parks, Bobby Lay; great grandchild, July Partin; brothers, Ronnie Lay and wife Mae; Donnie Lay and wife Tammy; sisters: Mary Ann Weaver and husband Charles; Beverly Hatfield and husband Dave; family friend, Diane Herrick; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
The funeral was held Sunday, November 6, in the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Cox officiating.
Burial was held Monday, November 7, in the Bobby Lambdin Family Cemetery (Frakes, Kentucky).
