Eula Bertha Hill

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Eula Bertha Hill, 89, on October 23, 2025. Eula, a loving and humble soul, brought joy and warmth to every life she touched. She was born in Gatliff on August 8, 1936 to the late William Bradley Spurlock and Anne Stevens Spurlock. She was a member of the Hanging Rock Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Eula’s greatest joy was her family, whom she treasured above all else. She is survived by her loving children, Gail Young (Robert) of Williamsburg, KY, Joyce Wilson (Marcus) of Williamsburg, KY, Sheena Noe (Hollie) of Williamsburg, KY, and Michael Hill (Lena) of Williamsburg, KY.
She also leaves behind a legacy of love with her grandchildren, Stacy Wilson, Travis Wilson, Scott Young, Becky Taylor, Jennifer Woods, Nicholas Wilson, Laura Hughes, Joshua Noe, Holly Hampton, Mahayla Hill, and Michelle Hill. She was also blessed with 33 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends who will deeply mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Howard Garfield (Doc) Hill; and beloved grandchildren, Daniel Noe, Mark Wilson, and Whitney Dawn.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Eula’s life. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25, at 1:00pm at Croley Funeral Home, located at 103 South 2nd Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky. The funeral service will follow at 3:30pm with Rev. Floyd Hale officiating.
The burial service will take place at 4:30pm at Freeman Cemetery located at Hanging Rock, Williamsburg, Kentucky.
