Floyd “Judge” Lawson, 73, of Skaggs Branch Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Friday, February 23, 2018 at his home.

He was born on October 9, 1944 in Jellico TN to the late Bill Lawson and Opal (Bennett) Lawson.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn (Worley) Lawson; sister, Geneva “Doll” Lawson; four brothers, Ray Lawson, Eugene “Jailer” Lawson, Orie “Cat” Lawson and Jimmy “Bodine” Lawson.

He is survived by his children, Teddy Ray Lawson and wife Barbara, Floyd “Drew” Lawson and Shawn Lawson of Williamsburg; grandchildren, Tyler Ray Lawson and Tanner Joe Lawson; sister, Eula Daugherty of Williamsburg; four brothers, Rev. Elbert “Sack” Lawson, Arthur “Art” Lawson, Olan Lawson and Danny Lawson of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Monday, February 26, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Rose and Rev. Lowell Huddleston officiating.

Following the service he was laid to rest in the Lawson-Worley Cemetery at Red Hill.
