Ruth Ann Cooper Potter, 71, of Gatliff Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

She was born on January 19, 1947 in Whitley County, to the late William Cooper and Iva (Polly) Cooper.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Potter. She was a former employee of the Whitley County Board of Education.

She is survived by two daughters, Sarah Lawson and her husband Matt and Rachel Fuston and her husband Scott of Williamsburg; seven grandchildren, Colton Lawson, Abby Lawson, Emma Lawson, Katelynn Fuston, Skyla Fuston, Rayna Fuston and Darren Fuston; two great-grandchildren, Cade and Benjamin; two brothers, Johnny Cooper and his wife Vickie and Mike Cooper and his wife Teresa of Williamsburg; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service was held Friday, February 23, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Croley officiating.
