Freda Jenneva Cox Wilson, 67, of North Wilkesboro, NC and formerly of Williamsburg, departed this life on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in North Wilkesboro, NC.
She was born on October 14, 1948 in Williamsburg, to the late Clarence Cox and Rebecca (Heaton) Cox.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Cox; a grandson, Devon Myles Neal and a niece, Jillian Cox.
She is survived by five children, Lisa Elliott (Ryan) of Saginaw, MI, Leona Sanders of North Wilkesboro, NC, Diane Thiessen of New Britain, CT, Rebecca Zapata of Rock Shell, IA and Jackie Rogers (Vicki) of Millers Creek, NC; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Eddie Cox (Bobbie), David Cox (Ann), Doug Cox (Karen) and Glenn Cox, all of Tampa, FL; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was held Saturday, October 1, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Heaton officiating.
She was buried in the Shupe Cemetery in Rockholds.
