Free Hep A vaccinations available Thursday at W’burg City Hall

Whitley County Health Department Interim Director Tamara Phelps gave Williamsburg Mayor Roddy Harrison the first of his two-part Hepatitis A vaccination during a free clinic Tuesday afternoon at Williamsburg City Hall.

Thanks to a joint effort between the City of Williamsburg, the health department and Dayspring Family Health Center, 600 free doses of the vaccine are being given away on a first come, first served basis during the two-day clinic, which will resume at noon Thursday at city hall.

The vacinations are available through 6 p.m.
