Between Jan. 6 and Jan. 7, Whitley County received between 4.5 and 7 inches of snowfall, depending on the location within the county, according to the National Weather Service in Jackson.
Because many community members went outside to enjoy the snow, the News Journal put out a call for photos on social media.
Almost 200 photos were submitted in response to the Jan. 7 Facebook, Instagram and Twitter posts.
