Garfield Hatfield, age 85, of the White Oak Community of Duff, Tennessee passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, at his home. He was born June 1, 1939, in Valley Creek, Tennessee.
Garfield is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue (Partin) Hatfield; great-grandchild, Zeke Fox; father, Rev. Tilman Hatfield; mother, Rachel (Sharp) Hatfield; brothers, Marshall, Ben, Sherman, J.B. and Clifford Hatfield; sisters, Lilly Hatfield, Martha Hatfield, and Mary Adkins.
He is survived by his son, Ricky Garfield Hatfield and Rebecca Lowe; daughters, Carolyn Fox, Teresa Huskey England and husband Tony; great friend, Jerry Fox; grandchildren, Karen Hamblin, Kimberly Leach, Dustin Fox, Jason Huskey, Jordan Huskey, Dustin Lowe, Nathaniel Lowe, and Cheyenne Lowe; great-grandchildren, Anthony Malone, Charlie Leach, Kensley Hamblin, Zoie Fox, Roman Fox, Emma Fox, Cayden Fox, Mia Fox, Dalton Lowe, Gunner Lowe, and Dustin Lowe, Jr.; great-great-grandchild, Ellie Rose Huskey; brothers, Robert Hatfield, and Ardyslee Hatfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Tuesday, May 20, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Adam Gulley officiating.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21, in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Moses Addition.
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of arrangements.
