Geneva Huddleston

Geneva Huddleston, age 76, of Jellico, Tennessee, passed away early Monday morning, September 5, 2022, at Beech Tree Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Jellico.
She was born on April 27, 1946, to the late Kenny (Bud) Huddleston and Elsie Mae (Parrott) Huddleston in Clairfield, TN. Geneva was the granddaughter of the late Finley Huddleston and Flora Huddleston and the late Isaac Parrott and Susie (Bowman) Parrott.
Geneva worked for more than 25 years at Jellico Community Hospital. She was a member of the Tannery Hollow Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil Huddleston, Raymond Huddleston, and Jimmy Huddleston; four sisters, Lillie Mae (Huddleston) Lay, Marie Huddleston, Ruth Huddleston, and Patsy Dale Huddleston; and one niece, Michelle Lee Huddleston.
She is survived by three nieces, Rhonda Marlow, and husband, Floyd, of Jellico, Tiffaney Sharp, and husband, Billy, of Knoxville, TN, and Melissa Hackler, of Jellico; three nephews, Tyler Marlow, and fiancée, Kacee Warren, of Johnson City, TN, Bradley Huddleston, and wife, Kayla, and Clayton Hackler, all of Jellico.
She is also survived by one sister, Brenda Shillings, of Jellico; one brother-in-law, Ronnie Lay, of Jellico; special friends and neighbors, Glenna and Granville Moses, Lois Trammel, Margaret Moses, and Shirley Wortham; and a host of friends, neighbors and other relatives to mourn her passing.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday afternoon, September 9, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral will immediately follow on Friday, September 9, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Buckner officiating.
Interment will follow the funeral in the Douglas Cemetery.
