Gladys Eileen Cash

Gladys Eileen Cash, 91, of Danville (formerly of Corbin) passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017.

She was the oldest founding member of 19th Street Church of Christ.

Born May 20, 1925, in Woodbine, she was the daughter of the late Obed and Nettie Poynter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Cash; daughter, Jeannie Cash; two sisters: Floy Brown and Norma Skeen; and two brothers-in-law: Clelleon Brown and Wesley Skeen.

She leaves behind her daughter, Sherry Rodgers and husband Tom of Danville; son, Michael Cash of Speedwell, TN; two grandchildren: Matthew Rodgers and Amy Schott and husband Dan; two great grandchildren: Carver Schott and Tinsley Schott; nephew: Jerry Brown and wife Judy, as well as other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 30, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Brown, Bro. David Scott, and Amy Schott officiating.

Burial followed in Locust Grove Cemetery.
