Glenn Edward Gentry, 76, of Highway 1809, Barbourville, departed this life on Thursday, March 23, 2017 due to a motor vehicle accident in Williamsburg.

He was born on March 13, 1941 in Madison County, to the late Becham Gentry and Evelyn Hendricks Gentry.

He was preceded in death by a son, Rick Gentry; brothers, Kenneth Gentry, Cecil Gentry and Harold Gentry and a sister, Jerri Gentry.  Glenn was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church and a member of the Williamsburg Masonic Lodge #490 F&AM.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline Brown Gentry of Barbourville; two grandchildren, Aric Lee Gentry of Barbourville and Leah Hayes (Marty) of Williamsburg; three great-grandchildren, Naomi Breann Gentry, Aubree Elizabeth Hayes and Alexis Rose Hayes; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

A Masonic service was conducted by the Williamsburg Masonic Lodge #490 F&AM on Monday, March 27, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services followed with Rev. Randy Douglas officiating.

He was laid to rest in the Croley Addition of Highland Park Cemetery.
