Mattie S. Aylor, 95 of Williamsburg, passed away Friday March 24, 2017 at her home.

She was born March 28, 1921 in Whitley County to the late Finley Siler and the late Judy Faulkner Siler.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands Andy J. Lowe, Edwin Finks Aylor, and Jim Sharp; daughter, Wanda Lyna; two sons, Larry Lowe, and Jerry Wayne Lowe.

She is survived by a daughter, Rita Lowe of Williamsburg; two sons Cecil Lowe (Faye) of Lexington, Charles Lowe of Williamsburg; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Parrott of Jellico TN, Irene Sturgeon of Cincinnati OH; brother Bill Siler of Williamsburg, several nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service was held Monday March 27, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Justin Phillips and Rev. Cecil Lowe officiating. Interment was in the Siler Cemetery.
