Gopal Prakash, 54, of Williamsburg, departed this life on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Baptist Health Lexington in the presence of his loving and devoted family.
He was born on February 2, 1963, in Chennai, India and was preceded in death by his father, Gopalan Nair, and mother, Parvathy Gopal.
Prakash is survived by his wife, Stacey, and two daughters, Sydney and Molly; sister-in-law, Stephanie Jones and her husband, Tom; sister-in-law, Paula Gammon and her husband, Michael; brother, Gopal Babu and his wife, Suchetha; brother, Gopal Vinod and his wife, Bindu; sister, Gopal Sarala; as well as nine nieces and nephews, including Isaiah and Micah Jones; Olivia, Myra and Jude Gammon; Divya and Sarayu Babu; and Akshay Kumar and Midhun Krishna.
Funeral services were held at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 24th, with Reverend Steve Ellis officiating.
Interment was in the Piney Grove Cemetery at Goldbug.
