
She was preceded in death by husband, Henry B. Boles; parents, Andrew and Neoma (Edmond) Starrett; sister, Pauline Goins, and husband, Bill; sister, Bobbi Matte and husband Gene; brother, A.J. Starrett and wife Janice.
She is survived by brother, Kenneth Starrett and wife Nancy; niece, Debra Chitwood and husband Curtis; stepson, Larry Boles and wife Jill; grandson, Gary Boles; granddaughters; Lisa Bright and Lori Farris; great-granddaughters; Megan Farris and Kaitlyn Bright; great-grandsons; Atlas Farris and Colton Farris; and great-great-granddaughter, Kentlee Payne.
She was employed by the Campbell County Board of Education as a teacher’s assistant for 47 years and truly loved her job and her students. Her favorite hobbies were making cakes and candy, traveling, and visiting with friends. Hazel was a dedicated and loving Christian woman and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral service was March 1 at the Jellico Church of God Mountain Assembly with Rev. Scott Landis and Rev. D.J. Osborn officiating. Burial was March 2, in the Jellico Cemetery.
