Hazel Rich, age 89, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at her home. She was born April 5, 1931 in Whitley County, KY to the late James Melton and Martha Kidd Meadors.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Rich; a son, Kenny Rich; two sisters, Ethel Kelly and Stella Elias; and five brothers, Cye Meadors, Buford Meadors, L. B. Meadors, J. B. Meadors, and J. M. Meadors.

She loved going to church and was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of God.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara L. Lawson of Williamsburg, KY, and Martha McCreary of Williamsburg, KY; four grandchildren, James Brandon McCreary, Beulah Renee Walker, Joseph Cornett, and Deniece Cornett; one sister, Bobbie Ferguson; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 30, at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Meadors and Rev. Randall Halcomb officiating. Interment will be in the Piney Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, March 29, at Ellison Funeral Home chapel.
