Lois Dean (Huddleston) Sams

Date:

Lois Dean (Huddleston) Sams, age 75, of Spring, Texas, formerly of Jellico, Tennessee, left us to be with our Heavenly Father on March 5, 2021.

She loved the Good Lord Jesus Christ with all of her heart and one-day would be free as a bird. Lois would always tell you that her children are the best thing that God gave her. She spent almost 30 years helping special needs children while working for Alief Independent School District in Houston, TX. She will be remembered and cherished dearly by the many lives that she touched.

Lois was born on July 15, 1945 to the late John Roscoe Huddleston and Mary Ethel (Lindsey) Huddleston in Jellico.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Jacob Turner; two brothers, Floyd and Jack; and five sisters, Mary Francis, Georgia Mae (Lil), Billie Jo, Mabel, and Ruth Anne.

She is survived by the Blessings of her life – her children, Anthony and Tracie Sams, Kevin and Tracy Sams, Delbert Sams, III, Lisa and Sylvain Shank, Robin (Sams) Mesa, and Shawn and Kelly Sams; 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of friends, neighbors, and other relatives to mourn her passing.

Until we see you again Mom, we love you very much.
