The Williamsburg Yellow Jackets picked up their third win of the season Friday, defeating the visiting Harlan Green Dragons 30-8. More importantly, the win puts Williamsburg at 1-0 in district play ahead of their road game at Pineville next week.

Speaking of Pineville, the Mountain Lions were able to travel to Lynn Camp Friday and come away with a 35-28 victory, giving the Wildcats their first loss since week 0. Lynn Camp will try to rebound next week when they travel to face Harlan.

And finally, the Whitley County Colonels continued their winning ways Friday, picking up another win over a district opponent when they defeated visiting Perry County Central with ease, 50-14. The win is the sixth in a row for the Colonels, and they will try to keep that streak alive when they travel to Harlan County next week.

The Corbin Redhounds had the week off, but will host Bell County next week.
