I-75 near Corbin reduced to one lane Tuesday, May 1

Date:

If you have to go north on I-75 in Whitley County today, then you should probably expect a delay or take an alternative route.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists that I-75 northbound at mile points 23.5-25.0 in Whitley County will be reduced to one lane.

Transportation crews will have the right (slow) lane section of this road closed until about 10 p.m. in order to perform base failure repair operations.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date and time could be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can access travel and traffic conditions at http://goky.ky.gov or contribute their own reports at www.waze.com or via the Waze mobile application.
