The welcome center in Whitley County on I-75 northbound at mile marker one near the Tennessee line will be closed today until 4 p.m.
The closure is necessary for maintenance operations.
Mobile message boards will be installed to alert motorists of the closure.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
