Jean Barton, age 79 of London, KY, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025 at her home. She was born July 15, 1946 in Frakes, KY, to the late J. P. and Wilma Lawson King. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Barton, one sister, Robin King, and one brother, Troy King.
She is survived by two children, Tim Barton of London, KY, Tony Barton of Williamsburg, KY, six grandchildren, Heaven Allen, Summer Barton, Anthony Barton, Katie Barton, Korbin Barton, Nathaniel Barton, 13 great grandchildren, four sisters, Carolene King, Clauden King, Wilma Lee King, Sheila King, three brothers, Dickie King, Gary King, Charles King, two sisters-in-law, Donna Barton, Jeanie Davis, several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Whitley Memorial Gardens with Bro. Anthony Barton officiating. Interment will follow directly after the graveside service in Whitley Memorial Gardens.
There will be no visitation.
