Joann Rains

Joann Rains, age 80, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at her home.
She was born May 23, 1942 in Corbin, KY to the late John and Irene Hickey Walker.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Andy Rains; two brothers; Tim Walker, Ed Walker, two step-daughters; Judy Rains, Pam Shelton, and a great-granddaughter; Harper Barton.
Joann retired from Community Trust Bank.
She is survived by one daughter; Kathy Willis (Lyle) of Keavy, KY, two sons; Keith Rains of Williamsburg, KY, Randy Rains of Williamsburg, KY, 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two sisters, Regina Seales (Craig) of FL, and Mary Mitchell (Joe) of Hamilton, OH; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Friday, February 10, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dennis Crump officiating. Interment was in Pleasant View Cemetery Moses Addition.
