John Gregory Elliott

John Gregory Elliott, 52, of Barbourville passed away Monday, August 23, 2021. He was born March 31, 1969, in Pineville, Kentucky.
Greg was a graduate of Knox Central High School. He had a variety of interests. He especially enjoyed trail riding on his ATV, drag racing, flea markets, old cars, guns, target practicing, and all animals, particularly dogs.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy Hill; step-grandfather, Harry Croley; and great-grandmother, Francis Click.
He leaves behind his mother, Lavonda Lambdin and husband Mike; father, John Elliott and wife Robin; three sons, Johnathan Elliott (Samantha), Joseph Elliott (Alyssa Lerma), and Jacob Elliott (Amanda); brother, Steven Elliott; grandmother, Zelma Croley; and uncle, Jerry Berkley. He is also survived by numerous friends, including two special friends, Jackie Swafford and Mark Patterson.
Greg was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 27, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Siler officiating. Burial will follow in Terrell Cemetery with Steven Ellliott, Mike Lambdin, Rod Carter, Jr., Monty Hart, Mike Barton, and Nick Logan serving as pallbearers; Mark Patterson and Jackie Swafford will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 P.M. Friday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
