John Perkins, 56, of Rockholds, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at his home.
He was born on August 31, 1960 in Jellico, TN to the late Joseph Perkins and Elizabell (Brooks) Perkins.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Nathan Silas Perkins, Bufford Lee Perkins and Noel Eugene Perkins.
He is survived by his special friend, Laura Hatfield of Rockholds; four sisters, Gracie Mae Roeden of Williamsburg, Linda Sue Swafford of Rockholds, Martha Lou Nantz of Rockholds and Faye Lindsay of Williamsburg; two brothers, James Edward Perkins of Rockholds and Stanley Perkins of Jellico, TN; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the service hour on Wednesday, August 16, at Croley Funeral Home.
The Memorial Service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Decker officiating.
Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Swafford Family Cemetery.
