Johnny McKinney, age 60, of Corbin, KY, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 in Corbin, KY. He was born August 8, 1960 in Corbin, KY to the late John and Leona Faulkner McKinney. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis McKinney; two brothers, Bob McKinney and Bill McKinney; father-in-law, Ronald Lanham; sisters-in-law, Dailey McKinney and Regina McKinney; and brother-in-law, Rev. Lowell Huddleston.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa McKinney of Corbin, KY; daughter, Christina Myers (Warren) of Lily, KY; three grandchildren, Abijah Myers, Zebediah Myers and Selah Myers; one sister, Carrie McKinney Huddleston of Corbin, KY; two brothers, Dan McKinney of Corbin, KY and Tommy McKinney (Karen) of Corbin, KY; mother-in-law, Beulah Barnett (Willis) of Corbin, KY; two sisters-in-law, Betty McKinney of Corbin, KY and Shela Watson (Kenneth) of Williamsburg, KY; two brothers-in-law, Larry Lanham (Amy) of Corbin, KY and Gary Lanham (Kelly) of Oakland City, IN; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 7, at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew McKinney and Bro. Vernon Jones officiating. Interment will be in Ryan Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour on Friday, May 7, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel.
