The Whitley County Colonels baseball team travelled to Owensboro for their shot to become the 2026 Kentucky 2A Baseball State champions.
The trip was well worth it as the Colonels brought home the title following a 4-0 win over LaRue County.
The team also defeated Murray and Glasgow during the tournament.
