Laurel deputies asking for public’s help to find dirt bike thief

Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help to find the individual who stole a dirt bike from the Corbin Walmart Friday night.

According to Sheriff John Root, the male subject is seen on video pushing the Coleman 125 dirt bike out of the store through the lawn and garden entrance about 7 p.m.

The bike is valued at $899.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (606) 864-6600 or Laurel dispatch at (606) 878-7000. Callers may remain anonymous.

Sgt. Larry Parrott is continuing the investigation.
