The City of Jellico is now accepting sealed bids on a 2000 Ford Ranger and a 2007 GMC C85 Garbage Truck with a NEW WAY brand trash box. Bids must include, buyers name, address, phone number, letter of guarantee, and be submitted by Wednesday, August 20th at noon. All bids will be opened at the City Council meeting on Thursday, August 21, 2025. The highest bidder will be notified by phone the following day. If the winning bidder is unable to complete the purchase of the vehicle, it will be offered to the next highest bid. Inspections may be scheduled by calling (423) 784-3798 Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
