Local counties receive public assistance after Jan. storms

President Donald Trump and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) have approved public assistance for at least 18 counties affected by January’s winter storm, including Whitley, Laurel and McCreary counties. Gov. Andy Beshear made the announcement Monday.
