Local realtor helps foster children

Date:

Each year the Department of Community-Based Services (DCBS) collects gingerbread houses so foster families have an activity to bring a sense of tradition to their new family.

Revelation Realty’s Michelle Fairhurst wanted to make a difference for youth and supplied over 50 foster youth with gingerbread houses to enlighten their holiday in hopes of strengthening the bond in their new home environment.

Fairhurst recently presented the supplies to the Whitley County DCBS Office.

She has been active in DCBS sponsored events, which is something very near to her heart.
