Man arrested after drunk, nude teen girls found outside his home

A Corbin man is facing multiple charges including: Endangering the welfare of a minor and unlawful transaction with a minor after Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies reportedly discovered three teenage girls naked in the roadway outside his home.

Glenn E. Adkins, 40, was arrested Friday night at his home on Hanes Baker Road when deputies responded to the complaint of the naked teens and discovered there were actually four teens, all of who were intoxicated.

When deputies arrived, the teens were still out in the road, but soon ran back into Adkins’ home.

Upon further investigation, deputies Milton Robbie Grimes and Milton Storm along with Senior Sgt. Greg Poynter discovered the four teen girls inside the house. Each of the girls admitted they had been drinking alcohol.

"Alcohol was strewn throughout the house," Root reported.

Adkins reportedly told deputies he had been in bed and did not know the teens had been drinking.

Adkins was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor and second-degree wanton endangerment and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

He remains in the detention center on a $10,000 cash bond.

The teens were cited to Juvenile Court and released to the custody of their parents.
