Margetta Greene Dobson, 75, of Elk Valley, TN passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at her home.
She was born September 25, 1941 in Pleasant View, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hayden Dobson, Sr.; parents, Everett and Nell Greene; brothers, Billy Greene, John Greene, Jumbo Greene; and sister, Eloise Haynes.
She is survived by daughters, Marsha Walp and Timothy; Jennifer Sweet and Mickey; sons, James Hayden Dobson, Jr. and April Bryant, Danny Joe Dobson and Barbara, Brian Scott Dobson, Sr. and Kathy, Joseph Scott Dobson and Kelsey Barnhill; grandchildren, Dereck Lee Haydon Walp, Nikita LeeAnn Walp, Brian Scott Dobson, Jr., Joseph Ryan Dobson, Brooke Dobson, Joshua Hayden Dobson, Brittney Dobson, Jalen Dobson, Dalton Dobson, Amanda Lambdin; great grandchilden, Henley Joe Gomez, McKennon Wayne Lambdin; sisters, Elizabeth “Baby Doll” Rains, Joann Wilson; daughter-in-law, Brenda Dobson; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
Funeral services were held December 7, in the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Dople officiating. Burial followed in the Valley View Cemetery (Pioneer, TN).
