Marie Chambers, of Williamsburg, Kentucky was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on October 4th, 2022 as some of her dearest loved ones rallied around her.
Marie was a one of a kind, God loving, beautiful woman who made any friend into family with her infectious personality. Attributable to her humorous quirky comments, wittiness, smile, and laughter,
Marie could make any person’s day better by walking in and lighting up any room with light and joy.
She is proceeded in death by her mother, Gladys Rose; father, Lee Rose; and brothers, JR and EB.
Survived by her loving and most passionate husband, Chester Chambers. Marie also leaves behind her children, Gary “Pete” (Faye) Chambers of Williamsburg Kentucky, Dennis Chambers of Hazard Kentucky, Brenda (Tim) Douglas of Toledo, Ohio, and Debbie (Larry) Long of Maumee, Ohio; grandchildren, Jesse (Erica) Chambers, Danny (Stephanie) Thomas, Brooke (Ryan) Davidson, Holly Douglas, Hannah Douglas, Andrew Douglas, Kayla Long, Katelyn Long, and Adelynn Long; along with a great extent of loving great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other significant family members and special friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 10, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 10, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tyler Jones and Rev. Ronnie Rose officiating.
Following the service she will be laid to rest in the Clearfork Cemetery.
