Mark Steven Walker, 50, of Highway 895, Williamsburg, departed this life on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at his home.

He was born on September 5, 1966 in Somerset.

Mark was dedicated to his wife, son and daughter.  He loved spending time with his family and friends and was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed U.K. Athletics.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pleas and Elva Walker, Slaney and Charlena Fields, Ross and Opal Brooks; nephew, Jimmy Lee Ashby.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Fields Walker of Williamsburg; son, Jonross Slaney Walker of Williamsburg; daughters, Sara McKenzie Walker of Williamsburg and Bethann Moses of Williamsburg; his father, John Henry Walker of Williamsburg; brother, Gerald Wayne Walker (Alda) of Williamsburg; niece, Rachelle Walker Lee of Williamsburg; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at Croley Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 23, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerome Cox, Rev. Robbie Powers and the Honorable Paul K. Croley officiating.
