McKinley “Hot Shot” Morgan, age 77, of the Little Elk Community of Pioneer, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the LaFollette Medical Center.
He was born July 25, 1946, in Jellico, Tennessee.
Hotshot is preceded in death by, wife, Reba Sue (Miller) Morgan; twin grandsons, Canaan Isaiah Morgan and Caleb Isaac Morgan; father, Leonard Morgan; mother, Bessie (Hicks) Perry; and brother, Paul Morgan.
He is survived by, sons, Arron Morgan, Paul Morgan and wife Mary, and Greg Morgan; daughters, Sharon Morgan, and Karen Cordova; grandchildren, Paul William Morgan, Caylaan McKinley Morgan, and Mariah Lay; great-grandchildren, Mariah Taylor, and Dean Walker Morgan; and a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, George Mark Morgan and late wife Betty, Carl Morgan and wife Jennifer, David Morgan and wife Betty; sister, Evelyn Hackler and late husband Clarence; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
The funeral was Friday, March 29, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Denny Wayne Davis officiating.
Burial was Saturday, March 30, 2024, in the Baird Cemetery, Little Elk, in Pioneer, Tennessee.
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of arrangements.
