Melissa Rae Faulkner and Chadwick Cabell Sturgill were united in marriage at 11:30 a.m. on September 4, 2004. The private family wedding took place at First Baptist Church, Corbin, Kentucky. The Reverend Lynne R. Huff officiated the ceremony.
Melissa is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy R. Faulkner of Corbin. Melissa is a graduate of Corbin High School and Eastern Kentucky University. She is employed by Cardiology Associates of Kentucky.
Chadwick is the son of Ms. Peggy B. Sturgill of Lexington and Mr. Thomas C. Sturgill of Lexington. Chadwick is a graduate of The Hill School, Pottstown, Pennsylvania and Duke University, Durham, North Carolina. He is employed by Community Trust and Investment Company.
Allison Blair Faulkner, sister of bride, served as the maid of honor. Thomas C. Sturgill, Jr., brother of the groom, served as best man. Junior attendants were Sarah Elizabeth Brown, cousin of bride, Katherine Alexandra Sturgill and Hannah Camille Sturgill, nieces of groom. The music was provided by Mrs. Donna Colegrove and Mrs. Gayle Majors. Mrs. Laura Hacker Adams served as wedding coordinator. A reception was held that evening at The Vintage House in Corbin.
The couple resides in Lexington, Kentucky.
