New, high-tech scoreboard for remodeled football stadium discussed at Corbin BOE meeting

When the $9.5 million renovation to Corbin High School’s football stadium is complete, the Corbin Independent School District is hoping that one upgrade will allow them to showcase more than just football.

The Corbin Independent Board of Education celebrated this year’s eight retirees during its meeting Monday, including John Benton, James Durham, Kim Hamlin, Tammy Lacefield, Dennis Smallwood, Phyllis Vannorstran, Ronnie Watkins and Kim Sutton.
