Portion of US 25W near Williamsburg to be closed for two weeks

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that U.S. 25W in Williamsburg, Ky. is scheduled to be closed between milepoint 11.6 and 12 for maintenance operations beginning Tuesday, July 25.

KYTC crews will close U.S. 25W between KY 92 and KY 856 (Old Corbin Pike Road) starting Tuesday at 6 p.m. EDT. The project is expected to be complete by Friday, Aug. 18.

Maintenance work will be performed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., the work zone will be reduced to one lane and signals will be utilized to control traffic.

Motorists should follow the signed detour to navigate around the work zone but should expect delays.
