Rhonda Petrey

Rhonda Petrey, age 73, of Gray, KY, formerly of Corbin, KY, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025 at Baptist Health Corbin.
She was born April 7, 1952 in Marlow, OK to the late Boyd and Faye Autry Daubenspeck.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Granville Petrey; and one daughter, Becky Petrey Thomas.
She is survived by two children, Diana Petrey Herald (Blaine Alan) of Somerset, KY, and Mary Ann Brock (Sam) of Gray, KY; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lynne Howard (Rick) of Oklahoma City, OK, Sherrill Farriester (Paul) Choctaw, OK; one brother, Terry Careathers of Oklahoma City, OK; special friends, Lois Petrey and Janice Traveny; her protector pet, “Bear”; several nieces, nephews; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Saturday August 23, at Mountain Ash Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Carpenter and Rev. Luke Day officiating.
Interment followed in Highland Park Cemetery Ellison Addition.
