Richard Vaughn Smith, 76, a resident of Batavia, OH passed away December 31, 2018.
He was the son of the late Joseph Alman and Ruth Floyd Smith.
Richard taught elementary school for 52 years with 30 years at West Clermont School.
He was the beloved husband of Claudia Lee (nee Miller) Smith for 53 years.
Richard was a special friend of the Lock and Bevers families and all of his church family.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 5 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Batavia, OH. Interment was in the Batavia Union Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 2249 Old State Route 32, Batavia, OH for the construction of a picnic shelter.
