Roger Cecil Walker, 74, of Williamsburg, passed away Friday July 21, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

He was born August 8, 1942 in Stearns, to the late Earl Walker and the late Zelma Cross Walker.

He is survived by his wife, Joie Walker of Williamsburg; six children, Joel Walker (Pon) of San Luis Obispo, CA, Paula Meirowsky (Mark) of Wichita, KS, Maria Nur (Aziz) of Wichita, KS, Deborah Dowell (Jim) of Blountville, TN, Bill Fulton (Teresa) of Rockholds and, Johnny Fulton (Crystal) of Siler; a grandchild, Yasmin Nur of Wichita, KS; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Goad of Muncie, IN; sisters-in-law, Hazel Webb of Corbin, Jessie Hurst of Siler and Thelma Taylor of Crestline, OH; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday, July 26, at Croley Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday July 26, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Partin and Dr. Jerry Lowrie officiating.

Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Peace Cemetery.

Military graveside honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin.
