Russell “Rusty” Donald Meredith, age 42, of Newcomb, Tennessee passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 15, 1983, in Jellico, Tennessee.
Rusty is preceded in death by grandchild, Sage Heatherly; grandfathers, Don Meredith, Lonnie “Chico” Woods; and niece, Aleah Faith Stiehl.
He is survived by daughters, Alissa Paige Heatherly and husband Gage, Emma Pergram, Maddison Pergram; grandchild, Kayge Heatherly; mom, Martha Meredith; father, Lonnie Woods, mother, Angela Woods; brother, Arron Woods and wife Tasha; sister, Martha Woods and Harley Thomas; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, November 29, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with friends, Dustin Mason, Anthony “Goldburg” Anderson, Chris Pennington and Rev. Mike Douglas officiating.
