Season’s Restaurant hosting second round of tour bus stops

Date:

Following up the success of the spring tours, Season’s Restaurant in Corbin will be hosting seven additional Tauck Tours tour bus stops in Corbin.

Season’s co-owner Shea Hensley said the first bus of 44 people travelling between Louisville and the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina will be making a lunch stop in downtown Corbin Friday.

During the 105-minute stop, the passengers will have lunch at Season’s and have time to stretch their legs along Main Street.

“These aren’t people from Kentucky,” Hensley said of the tourists. “They are from out west and up north.”

Corbin Tourism Director will be on hand when each bus arrives to welcome the guests and give them each a goodie bag.

“This is a win-win for Seasons and Tauck Tours and a win for Corbin as well Hensley said. “It is just opening Corbin up to tourism.”

Hensley said one of the goals that he and co-owner Jason Matthews have had is to find a ways to get more tourists, especially tour buses to stop in downtown.

“We worked on Tauck for two years and we are worked on getting a Christian bus tour to stop,” Hensley said.
