Signs of life at Tri-County Country Club

For the first time in more than a year, there were signs of life at the Tri-County Country Club Friday as a tractor cut grass that had overgrown the course since it was closed in April 2015. Joe Roberts of Corbin confirmed he was doing the work but declined to give further details pending completion of the legal paperwork.

More than a year after it was closed down, there are signs of life at the Tri-County Country Club.

Cutting its way through the high grass that has taken over the nine-hole course located off of Ky. 1232 Thursday and Friday, was a John Deere tractor driven by former member Joe Roberts of Corbin.
