State Police say Corbin man has been missing since late April

Date:

Kentucky State Police are searching for a Corbin man reported missing since late April and was last known to be attending a work-related conference in Ohio.

Trooper Staci Walker said Terry Smith, who lives at 2003 5th Street Road, Apt. 1, was last heard from by a fellow employee at WD Bryant on April 28.

"He had gone to a Pella Windows conference and one of his co-workers spoke to him by phone that day."

Walker said Smith’s wife, Tamara, who lives in Florida, said he has disappeared for an extended period of time once before, but that was more than 10 years ago. Smith is a Florida native who has lived in the Corbin area for 16 years.

"He has no criminal history," Walker said of Smith, noting a nationwide check showed he is not incarcerated in jail anywhere. "He is a fine citizen."

Anyone with information about Smith is asked to contact Kentucky State Police Post 11 in London, 878-6622.
